Holding

I opened my 3rd Art Exhibition last night and it was a huge success... It's at WAYLA BAR on 996 Queen Street East.

For the first time I have been using Oversize Images and they turned out great. I'm happy with the turn out last night and want to thank all of my friends and Art fans who made an appearance. The owners of Wayla Bar generously sponsored Finger Food and Beverages, so a big thank you to Israel and Stephane.
The images will be up until the end of November, please feel free to stop in for a drink and enjoy the art.

BLUE

You might notice that this image is up side down.... It's meant to be , because sometimes our lives seem to be that way.

This is the first image of mine that has been sold. I donated it to "The Little Art Show" an annual event at the Mercedes Benz dealership on Dundas Street East. The event will be held on November 13th this year and always worth attending.

Facettes

This is 1 Adelaide, I love this building, it has so many Angles and looks different every time I shoot it. For me this image represents the light and the dark sides of life. Next time you are in that neighborhood, just stop for a moment and take in the beauty of the Architecture.

For the next three weeks you can find a selection of my images at Ed's Ice Cream shop on Queen and Logan. The Ice Cream is amazing and you can enjoy Art while you are there.

The Spirit

I took this Image the last time I went to my Home Town , Braunlage / Germany, in February 2010, it is the oldest wooden Church in Germany and a place that holds a lot of memory for me.
My Brothers and I were Christened and Confirmed in this Church and I went there to pray before every home game during my Hockey Career. Every time I go home I spend a few minutes in there to pray and to take in the spirit and silence of this beautiful house of God.

The Heart sees more than the Eye...

This image is many peoples favorites and one of mine as well. I shot it in the early spring of 2010, in the Don Valley Toronto, just walking with the camera and enjoying the first rays of spring sun. It reminds me of the long and hard path I have been on in the last 3 years.

There has been a lot of shade and some sun on my journey and this image is the perfect reflection.....
I would appreciate your feedback and input.
Enjoy

The First !

I finally decided to write a Blog, after a lot of my friends suggested that I should.
It's only been 18 months that I have fell in love with photography and it quickly became my passion.

My images are my way to express emotions and moods. When I go out to shoot, it's my eye and my soul leading me, I usually don't plan what to shoot. I love to wonder the city and let my emotions take over, it's a very calming experience . I have recently joined had my first Gallery at Joy Bistro on Queen Street East and it was very gratifying to see people enjoying my Art. The next one is coming up on August 1st at Ed's Ice Cream shop on Queen Street East. Stay tuned for more weekly updates and images.
